About Laronda
Laronda Alexander, RN, is a mental health nurse, women’s minister, and speaker with a deep passion for helping those who are hurting find hope and healing. Throughout her nursing career, she has been drawn to walk alongside individuals carrying emotional pain and brokenness. Through her personal experience with anxiety, depression, and a life-threatening genetic heart condition, Laronda gained a deeper understanding of the inseparable connection between emotional and physical healing—an insight that continues to shape her work with women today.
Known for her compassionate presence and powerful messages of hope, Laronda is a sought-after Christian speaker whose greatest joy is witnessing women experience freedom from the lies, trauma, and wounds of their past. Her teaching invites women to care for their hearts intentionally and to embrace the healing, wholeness, and restoration available through Christ.
With over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, Laronda has served in a wide range of settings, including cardiology, critical care, adult and pediatric mental health, drug and alcohol detox and recovery, and sexual offender treatment programs. This diverse clinical background equips her with a unique and practical understanding of the complex connection between physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
In addition to her medical career, Laronda is an ordained minister, certified biblical counselor, and trained in inner healing prayer. She previously served as Assistant Director of Victory Life Ministries, where she provided pastoral counseling, led small groups and recovery programs, mentored women, and directed Daughters of Grace—a ministry supporting women transitioning out of the sex industry.
Laronda is also the founder and former director of Agape Connection Ministries, Inc., an organization dedicated to helping women recover from emotional trauma and walk in renewed freedom and purpose.
Outside of ministry and speaking, Laronda treasures time with her husband, Scott, their two children and their spouses, and their four granddaughters. She enjoys traveling and brings warmth, joy, and a touch of humor into everyday moments.
